What is JobDiva?
JobDiva is a solution for the staffing organization. Targeted to the staffing organization, JobDiva is a comprehensive solution that encompasses an extensive applicant tracking system, client CRM system, job management workflow fulfillment system and process, candidate careers/jobs web site portal, electronic job board resume harvester, electronic VMS job spidering tool, time keeping and billing system as well as a VMS/MSP system and solution. All these components, have been developed by JobDiva as an integral part of the one JobDiva solution. All JobDiva's business software has been developed by JobDiva for JobDiva only. This JobDiva software, process and solution is the proprietary property of JobDiva.
 




What makes JobDiva's resume search engine different from other resume search engine products?

JobDiva's resume search engine patent-pending technology has the capability of producing a short list of the best-suited candidates for the job requirement. The short list of resumes has a high precision ratio. That is, most of the retrieved resumes, if not all, have the required skills at the required duration of experience. The short list of resumes has also a high recall ratio. That is, most of the resumes, which are a match to the requirement by skill and duration of experience, are located by the search.

 




How will JobDiva give my company a competitive advantage?

Faster Fills. The electronic pile of resumes, which are received in response to advertising and to subscriptions to public web sites, is rapidly reduced to the short list of candidates who have the required background. Suitable candidates can be located and qualified within seconds or minutes beating the competition to the hunt. The rapid delivery of almost all the properly matching candidates enables the recruiter to select the best available candidates. The alternative is to leaf through a considerably larger pile of electronic resumes and settle for the first few that match. How does JobDiva retrieve resumes for me?

JobDiva downloads resumes from the public jobs boards to which you are subscribed, using your account logins and passwords, by way of the IE Internet browser. Part of JobDiva's offering is this download program and it s source code which runs on a single PC at your site. The tool runs at a speed which emulates the time it takes for a human end-user to search retrieve resumes and pauses for some time between clicks so as to not burden the job board provider s hardware. Therefore, because it might take longer to download a hundred resumes from a single web site, the download program creates multiple instances for each different public job board to which you subscribe. The tool utilizes either your entered list of skills in the search or the criteria you have stored in JobDiva to download pertinent resumes from the public sites into your private account at JobDiva. Regardless of whether the resumes were downloaded by you, the JobDiva tool, or were sent in response to your job postings they will be your company s private resumes within JobDiva.





 
How quickly after resumes are sent to my JobDiva account can they be searched and accessed?
Almost immediately. You can either have applicants email their resumes directly to your private JobDiva account at yourcompanyname@jobdiva.com or you can auto-forward emails you receive to yourcompanyname@jobdiva.com. If there is a job site that you control, we will provide you with a simple interface, user ID, and password to FTP the files to JobDiva. Any one of the options takes only a few minutes to configure. Most importantly, when the leads are e-mailed or FTP'd, they become searchable in less than five minutes. It takes JobDiva one to five minutes to extrapolate the attributes and auto-populate the database.





 
Can JobDiva retrieve resumes from any job board?
JobDiva offers tools to retrieve resumes from most of the national job boards but, if there is any web site to which you subscribe that the download programs do not cover, we will develop a program specifically for that site and have it to you within just a few hours.

 




Can JobDiva be used as a plug-in or inter-operate with other software tools already implemented?

JobDiva's search engine can be utilized in parallel with your in-house workflow systems and processes. Again, your in-house data base and workflow processes can only benefit from JobDiva and no modification to them is required when JobDiva is used.





 
Can JobDiva work in tandem with my company's career board website?
Though JobDiva can be used as an order-fulfillment tool, it need not replace any existing tool. Additionally, JobDiva is not meant to replace the front-end portal which promotes your business.

 




How does JobDiva deliver its products?

As a hosted ASP at our data center or installed on-site at your company.

 




What are JobDiva's metrics, results and benchmarks?

By using JobDiva, you will be witness a drop in the cost per hire (placement), placement per recruiter, candidate submittal per recruiter, and candidate submittal per opening. You will also realize greater customer satisfaction and repeat business. You probably account for these metrics monthly or quarterly. The tracking of such activities, if not available to you otherwise, is available in JobDiva. Our research shows that an individual recruiter using JobDiva is two to three times more productive than a recruiter utilizing other search engines. This is based on in-the-field experience against competition. We've calculated the minimum savings to be the cost of two recruiter's annual compensation and overhead for each employed recruiter (you will need one recruiter to handle the workload of three with JobDiva) and, therefore, you can expect the productivity of your recruiters to triple.

 




What about the privacy and confidentiality of the information and resumes save to my JobDiva account?

Resumes received by JobDiva from you and through your subscriptions to public and private web sites are yours and are held in strict confidence. Different subscribers of JobDiva might also be subscribers to the same public web site and may retrieve the same resumes however, in JobDiva, your obtained resumes will remain private to you. Additionally, any notes or comments made by you will remain proprietarily owned by you. JobDiva will obtain, on your behalf for your private use, any resume that you might need from your subscribed private or public web sites. You will privately own these resumes.

 




How is JobDiva installed?

JobDiva requires no new hardware or software installation. Setting up IDs and passwords are the only system requirements to utilize JobDiva.

Tony Bosco, Vice President of Business Development and Alliances
Tony Bosco joined JobDiva in 2012, and is Vice President of Business Development and Alliances. He focuses on new client acquisition and developing strategic partnerships. Tony brings 23 years of staffing industry experience to JobDiva. He spent 16 years at Advantage Resourcing (formerly TAC Worldwide), where he served as a Director and designed and delivered global recruitment strategies across all operating units focusing on technology accelerators and innovative technologies within the human capital space. Tony holds a Bachelor's Degree from Assumption College.

Neil Brodie, Director of Business Development
Neil is responsible for developing and growing JobDiva’s relationships with UK recruitment agencies. Neil has extensive expertise in all facets of the recruitment process, and in the job market overall. Initially involved in the launch of online recruitment website TotalJobs, he went on to launch niche job boards SalesTarget & RetailChoice before moving into SaaS recruitment software.

Emily Clark, Product Management
Emily Clark helps optimize clients' processes and works with the technology team to develop and implement innovations which support the growth of clients' businesses. After a successful run as an IT recruiter, she joined JobDiva in 2008 as an account manager. For a year, she brought clients to JobDiva from around the country and the globe and represented the company at a multitude of conferences. As a sales person interfacing with JobDiva's technology department on a daily basis, Emily became enthralled with the developers' culture, characterized by innovation and dedication. She soon joined the technology department as a Senior Business Analyst. Born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri, she subsequently attended Columbia College, Columbia University where she received an BA degree in Philosophy.

Peter Cronin is JobDiva's Vice President of Sales and has been with this company for more than 3 years. Peter has had 20+ years Business Development and Management for Start - Up, Mid-Sized and Multinational Accounts with Medical products and Medical IT. He has helped introduce Medical/Surgical technology and Medical IT systems for Fortune 500 Companies to major Healthcare institutions in the US. His background combines Traditional and Alternative Medicine and Medical methodologies. Siraj Haider, Chief System Architect and Technical Lead
As Chief System Architect and Technical Lead, Siraj Haider has played a fundamental role in designing and developing major JobDiva offerings that include resume indexing and searching, CRM, email integration and the candidate portal. His contributions toward enhancing the robustness and scalability of JobDiva are remarkable. Before joining JobDiva in 2001, Siraj worked at Citibank N.A. Pakistan as a System Analyst and worked on Citibank Human Resource Information System. He also designed and developed a Cost Management System for Citibank N.A. Pakistan. Siraj holds a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from University of Karachi, Pakistan.

Daniel Liu, Chief Data Base Architect
Daniel Liu is JobDiva's Chief Data Base Architect. He implements, manages and maintains various database systems, web servers, and application servers. Prior to joining JobDiva in 2001, Daniel was a System Analyst and Programmer for Algomod Technologies Corporation for over 13 years working with Citibank. At Citibank, he was responsible for the development and implementation of systems for trade services. Early in his career, Daniel was a programmer for European American Bank. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan and Master's Degree in Mathematical Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, Texas.

Gene Liu, Chief Technology Officer
Gene Liu is JobDiva's Chief Technology Officer and had been instrumental in the building and growth of the system's infrastructure since inception. Prior to joining JobDiva in 2001, Gene was a Project Leader for Algomod Technologies Corporation, JobDiva's sister company, for over 23 years working with Citibank. At Citibank, he was responsible for the development and implementation of systems for trade services. The well-developed systems processed up to thirty percent of the total US exports. He managed large teams of developers, analysts, and various professionals in different phases of the project development life cycle. Since 1979, he worked closely with Mr. Obeid in delivering some of the most advanced innovations in the application of information technology to business processes. Moreover, managing early in his career, Gene was a programmer for C&W Incotel, Citibank, Routers and Computer Horizons. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Computer Science from Hunter College, City University of New York.

Diya Obeid, CEO & President
As the Chief Executive Officer of JobDiva, Mr. Diya Obeid is responsible for setting the business and technology strategy of the company. His longstanding commitment to technology and process improvement is evident by a sizable portfolio of issued and pending patents for technologies related to search, match, data transfer and the recruitment process.

Mr. Obeid is also the founder of Axelon Services Corporation, a national Information Technology staffing and consulting organization established in 1977. The company is a preferred supplier to the largest and most successful companies in telecommunications, banking, brokerage, pharmaceutical and utility among others. Axelon has been recognized as the most favored supplier due to its customer service, quality, rapid delivery, and competitive pricing.

Mr. Obeid is a system developer, a leader, a speaker, an inventor, an adviser, and a visionary. He has been honored by his Alma Mater, Polytechnic University in New York City, with the Alumni Achievement Award, was a recipient of the Friend of Manhattan High Schools Award, and received the University Neighborhood High School Leadership Award for his services and contributions to the community and the public school system. He is the author of several algorithms in the fields of mathematical optimization and data base indexing. Mr. Obeid holds a Master's of Science Degree in System Engineering from Polytechnic University and a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics from the American University of Beirut. He attended the Lycée Saint Paul High School in Amioun, Lebanon, his birthplace.

Carolyn Palermo, Chief Training and Transformation Officer
Carolyn Palermo is responsible for designing and implementing customized training programs that satisfy the unique goals of clients. She has more than 20 years experience in various disciplines of the Human Capital Management field - ranging from course development and training to account management. Carolyn has over 15 years of experience helping clients implement Applicant Tracking Software and best practices to increase process efficiencies. During the late nineties, she worked for seven years at Resumix as a deployment and training manager. Carolyn joined JobDiva in 2004 to lead our training program. She has been instrumental in mapping client processes and assisting in implementing best practices. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Clarion University, Pennsylvania.

Charles Rouhana, Chief Research and Development Officer
Charles Rouhana is JobDiva's Chief Research and Development Officer. He has played a major role in designing, developing, and enhancing many features of the solution such as harvesting, VMS interfacing, resume parsing and processing. Charles leads the JobDiva development team. Charles also manages deployment and the mapping of client processes to JobDiva's functionality. Prior to joining JobDiva in 2002, Charles worked at the DISCOVER Lab of Cornell University where he participated in research and development of video conferencing on mobile networks. He also participated in early research and development of Internet access over Bluetooth. Charles also worked at Ericsson and helped implement the first trials for mobile Internet access. His project was presented in multiple IT exhibitions with great success. Charles holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon.

Keith Sage-El, Business Analyst
Keith Sage-El came to Axelon in 2007, after spending several years as the lead Administrator for the State Boards of Accountancy, overseeing the CPA exam for New York State and as the Assistant producer of the long running late night variety program "It's Showtime at the Apollo". Keith has always utilized his BBA in Marketing from Baruch College to decrease the cost of business, develop new areas of profit, explore and deploy new business processes for every company he has worked for; Keith was well positioned to transition from Axelon recruiting business to JobDiva's Business Development team, overseeing the deployment of Coddlers for Vendor Management Systems.

Gus Samra, Chief Revenue Officer
As Chief Revenue Officer, Gus implements JobDiva's growth strategy. He manages the full-cycle of the business development process from strategic planning and analysis, market assessment, lead generation, pricing and negotiation, to deal closure and client relationship. His extensive experience with JobDiva since 2002 has exposed him to challenging tasks in R&D and product management where he grasped JobDiva's cutting edge technology. Moving into client services and sales, he got a deep understanding of the market landscape and the needs and processes of staffing firms. Through his vast knowledge and experience, Gus has been instrumental in helping JobDiva increase its competitiveness and market share as the leading staffing solution and in making its clients the most successful. Gus holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.E in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph High School.

Jennifer Santiago, Vice President, Sales
Ms. Jennifer Santiago joined JobDiva in 2014 to assume the role of Vice President, Sales, drawing on her extensive experience in sales and customer relationship management. An expert in software technology and SaaS solutions for the staffing industry, Ms. Santiago is responsible for promoting JobDiva's award-winning Talent Acquisition and Management solution. Based in New York City, Ms. Santiago's primary responsibility is providing practical advice and comprehensive technical guidance in the selection, use, and application of staffing software technologies. Ms. Santiago brings to JobDiva a wealth of experience in the field of software sales, promotional marketing and social media. Prior to joining JobDiva, Ms. Santiago served as an Onboarding Specialist for Axelon Services Corp., a major national U.S. staffing firm specializing in the Fortune 100. Prior to that she enjoyed successful posts as a Publicist at Manhattan Makeovers and a Communications Specialist at American Realty Capital. Ms. Santiago earned a BA in communications at Pace University, where she graduated Cum Laude, and is an active member in Women in Corporate America (WICA).

Jack Shein, SPHR, CPC, Senior Vice President, Sales
As Senior Vice President, Jack Shein is responsible for generating new business development opportunities for JobDiva. Throughout his career, he has held various executive-level positions in staffing and human resources at The Equitable Life Assurance Society, Securities Industry Automation Corporation (SIAC) and Instinet. His post-graduate work is in Human Resources at Long Island University, New York -- Master's Degree. He served on the Board of Directors as Senior Adviser for the Human Resource Association of New York. Jack has held many positions with HRNY including Vice President of Technology & Communications for HRNY and served as a member of National Human Resource Technology Management Panel for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Past Chair of the HR/NY Certification Committee. Jack has been an Adjunct Professor for Human Resources Certificate Program at Wagner College's, teaching Workforce Planning and Employee/Labor Relations.
